Aegean Airlines Baggage Allowance Policy - Aegean Airlines Cabin and Checked Luggage

Greek travellers might be familiar with Aegean Airlines, as it is the flagship airline of Greece. However, non-Greek travellers might not be too familiar with this airline, hence they may find their baggage policy strange.

That’s why we’re here. Today, we’re bringing you the comprehensive guide to Aegean Airlines’ baggage policy. Hopefully, you will find this guide useful if you’re soon to board their flights.

    Aegean Airlines overview

On short and medium haul routes, AEGEAN, Greece's largest airline, offers complete service. AEGEAN has been a member of the STAR ALLIANCE, the world's most powerful airline alliance, since 2010. AEGEAN bought Olympic Air in 2013 and immediately expanded its network, fleet, and passenger numbers as a result of the deal. In 2018, 14 million passengers chose Aegean Airlines as their carrier. In 2019, Aegean Airlines offers flights to 151 destinations in 44 countries (31 domestic and 120 international). AEGEAN has cabins in both Economy and Business Class. On all foreign flights, complimentary food and drinks inspired by Greek cuisine are served. AEGEAN signed a Purchase Agreement with Airbus in June 2018 for up to 42 new generation A320neo family aircraft, with plans to place additional orders with lessors for up to 20 new A320neo family aircraft.

Aegean Airlines’ baggage policy isn’t the most convoluted, but it can still be confusing if passengers don’t understand it thoroughly. In this article, we will go through their policy in detail, namely their carry-on baggage policy, checked baggage policy, and excess baggage policy.
