Begin your journey at Gyeongbokgung Palace, which was built in 1395. Once the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty, this destination is now one of the most beautiful and largest of all five grand palaces. The Royal Guard Changing Ritual is one of the most popular events in the palace.

It is a spectacular and exquisite traditional Korean royal court cultural ceremony. The guards dress in royal costumes and wield traditional weaponry along with musical instruments to reenact the guard-changing ceremony done in the Joseon dynasty period.
