I appreciated the website and the discounts available. The ordering process was straightforward and well done.

I live in Canada and was pleasantly surprised by the fast shipping and the fact there were no unexpected duties, tariffs, or extra fees.

I bought this backpack because of the thick padding on the back panel and shoulder straps, and because it looked exceptionally well made. Ironically, those are the features I ended up liking the least.

The padding is thicker than I expected, making the backpack feel heavy, even when empty. The large, heavy-duty zippers add to the weight and don't glide as smoothly as I'd hoped.

When fully packed, the backpack felt awkward and uncomfortable. It almost seemed like the extra padding got in the way instead of improving comfort. The best way I can describe it is that it felt like carrying a heavy shell on my back.

I'm giving it three stars because the price was fair, the shopping experience was excellent, and the quality and craftsmanship are obvious. Unfortunately, the overall comfort just wasn't the right fit for me.

This version is about 25% shorter while preserving the main points and sounding balanced.

Great travel companion

The Adv Pro is a great travel companion. It has a padded back that is very helpful, and all the pockets for the laptop and stuff that should be easy to access add a nice value compared to the classic version. I use it as a "small bag" with every kind of airline thanks to the side straps, which can be used to squeeze the backpack at the occurrence.
The material is excellent, and the colors are fantastic (it isn't easy to choose one)!

Rollercoaster between brilliant and awful

My experience is mixed. The backpack was offered with a discount, I also got the discount from the newsletter and had the backpack delivered to Switzerland. The website is very pleasant to visit, it has lots of photos and information about the backpack itself, which made my decision easy.
After ordering, the dispatch was very prompt. Contrary to the information on the website. And then the negative part of the experience began: The backpack was shipped with FedEx. Until then, I didn't realise how awful this company is. Updates by text message and email were always contradictory, the delivery date was postponed several times and the delivery times were reassigned accordingly, again contradictory and of course incorrect. As a Swiss citizen, I am used to having to pay customs duties. FedEx delivered and sent the invoice weeks later, in which you can't see what the funny fees are and what is due to customs. Did I mention that it's practically impossible to contact FedEx by phone? At least the agent in the chat was helpful
Result: I have a wonderful, slightly too big rucksack that I like very much, a price that was destroyed by FedEx as I almost got back to the original price with the customs duty, knowledge about one more company that I never want to have anything to do with again (Dear cabinzero, please only use DHL or the respective country's post office for delivery...) and will be careful not to order another rucksack to Switzerland. Luckily I have relatives in the EU. Therefore, there is no full score, as I rate the whole experience.

Great bag classic pro

Recently I experience it in a trip to Greece. In customs perfect and with medium cubes inside ready for inspection, just lovely.
The handle strap in the back fit perfectly in the handle of my carry on luggage, so easy to transport over wheels.
Is a bit weighty but not too bad. Need consideration when you fill it to full.

Quality of materials is excellent, capacity is perfect for carry-on, but it can also become quite bulky so that the front pocket becomes too tight to use properly. This is resolved easily enough, just don’t fully load the main compartment. Zips are really sturdy but they can be tricky to use due to the material covering them (to keep rain out i guess). Overall I am pleased, wish it had a top “grab pocket” in addition to the front pocket, and then I think price would be better justified. Great delivery though, and it will serve me well enough.

I would have sent it back, but it is too expensive to send it from Finland. The zippers are too square to work well. You should not make so acute angles to zippers.

Love the bag but not the colour.

The bag is great and high quality with lots of great features and pockets. I really like the bag. I ordered the Orange Chill which looks great on the site, looks like a very nice orange colour. When I received the bag it is not orange but mustard or dark gold at best, for sure, not orange. I gave the bag away and will order another colour when they come back in stock.

I Love It!

This is my second purchase. I have a 28L Classic and now this 32L Pro. I traveled for almost a week with no problem. It is high quality and has all the features I wanted like the water bottle pocket and the front organization section and hip belt. I am 155cm and it did not look overwhelming on me. Perfect bag for travel.

quality throughout

early review after single trip abroad. came across cabin zero brand after random search and glad I did. this model is exactly as specified, a backpack which also doubles as a flight bag/case thanks to side handle and top handle. quality zips, nice padding, compression straps are excellent, okoban security tag, lockable zips. nice amount of internal compartments. the stowable straps are a must for flight use especially if airline singles your bag out for size checks. I easily packed all I needed plus additional shoes for a 5 night trip with room to spare. it's so well designed I'm going to look at cabin zero first when I want another one whatever the style. glad I went for the pro model as the extra features are warranted. the classic range is exactly suited for it's purpose. very happy customer!

Impressive but not for me

I was excited but as a 5’5” woman with sloping shoulders the straps did not fit me comfortably. Also the bag was heavier because of all the extra straps and things, and with my tools it was all a bit much. I returned it and on the plus side your customer service is excellent. The bags look amazing and I’m sure they are great for many people :)

Disappointed

Felt like the classic 28l is much better. The flap covering the zipper always gets stuck in the zipper and it came already pinched all over. The grab handles look really flimsy. Not glad I made the upgrade honestly
